Consists of two tinned copper 1.5mm2 bus wires with a self regulating, irradiation crosslinked conductive core and a modified polyolefin inner jacket, tinned copper metal braid with thermoplastsic elastomer over jacket.

Capable of maintaining temperatures up to 65°C, with intermittent exposure to 85°C, these cables are offered in output wattages of 25 w/m. @10°C.

It features lower installed cost than steam tracing, less maintenance expense and less downtime. It can be single overlapped without burnout, which simplifies heat tracing of inline process equipment such as valves elbows and pumps because it is self regulating.
